Students will have to write a tourist guide for a two days’ visit with a restricted budget that will include : Situation History Main facts about Gibraltar How to get there Where to stay What to visit Where to eat Afternoon and evening entertainments
-History of Gibraltar to make students aware of the conflict we have with British Government and how it all began. -As part of Spain it has been settled by Romans/ Visigoths /Moors -Analyse remains in the different places to be visited
Mathematics -Revise the English metric system/ Conversions worked in class
COMUNICATIVOS: - Aspectos discursivos: - Talk and listen about places to be visited /ask for help or clarification /take notes of what is being said - Revise how to organise written texts : division of paragraphs and use of place ,time , and sequence connectors
- Morfosintaxis
Fonética: Revision -ed pronunciation
Gramática: Revision of past tense /prepositions of place and sequence and time connectors
Ortografía: The use of punctuation
- Vocabulario: Work on inference to assign meaning to words
